The FLIR CM78-PV is designed for both commercial and industrial electrical inspections. It supports solar photovoltaic (PV) DC measurements up to 1,500 V using test leads, and handles up to 1,000 A DC or AC via the clamp jaw for DC Power measurements. The device is equipped with features such as Inrush AC current, variable frequency drive (VFD) mode, True RMS, and Low Impedance (LoZ) mode to meet advanced electrical testing and measurement needs. The built-in non-contact infrared thermometer aids in troubleshooting panels, conduits, and motors allowing for issue diagnosis and confirmation through contact measurements or by capturing intermittent faults with its datalogging function.

Additionally, the Bluetooth® FLIR METERLiNK technology enables wireless connection to the METERLiNK® app on mobile devices, facilitating instant documentation, reporting, and sharing of results from the field.
