Extech SL130G

Sound Level Alert with Alarm

The Extech SL130G is a Sound Level Alert with Alarm for continuous monitoring of sound levels. It can be ideal for industrial, hospital, auditoriums, schools or other areas where there is a need for being alerted when sound level reaches set points. Bright LEDs (red flashing or green) alert the user when a sound level is too high or too low. You can set the SL130 so the red LEDs flash when the sound level is below the"LO" set point where people in the audience may not be able to hear. When the sound level is above the "LO" set point, the green LEDs indicate the sound level is acceptable. You can reverse the red and green LEDs activation per user color preference. It is wall, desk, or tripod mountable with the optional 5 m (15 ft) microphone extension cable. It has a user settable high or low limit (30 dB to 130 dB) with an output to drive the external relay module. The SL130G meets ANSI Type 2 and EN 60651 accuracy specs and is compliant to OSHA. Complete with 100 V-240 V AC 50 Hz/60 Hz adapter and microphone wind cover. 8 AA batteries (not included) can be used for monitoring function only without the LED alert.
